Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy

KITCHEN SOCIAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Acceptance of Risk and Waiver of Liability

Participation in Kitchen Social’s cooking classes and events involves inherent risks, dangers, and hazards that can result in injury. By registering for a class, you agree to waive all rights and release Kitchen Social from any and all liability for damage, loss, or personal injury that you or a minor in your care may suffer as a result of participation in our cooking classes.

Health Advice Disclaimer

Information shared during our classes is for educational purposes only and is not a substitute for professional medical advice. We recommend consulting with a healthcare professional before making any significant changes to your diet or health practices.

Use of Likeness

Photos and videos from our classes may be captured by Kitchen Social or fellow participants and used on our website, social media, promotional materials, or in articles. Registration for our classes constitutes your agreement to this photography and recording and their subsequent usage.

Wait List

If a class is fully booked, you may request to be placed on a wait list by contacting us at info@kitchensocial.com. Please include the class title and date. If a spot becomes available, we will inform you via text message.

Cancellation and Rescheduling

Given the nature of our cooking classes, our refund and rescheduling policy is different from standard return policies. Since we prepare for each class by purchasing fresh ingredients and allocating resources, our policy accounts for these preparatory costs.

  • More than 14 Days: Notify us 14 days in advance for a 100% Class Credit for a future class.
  •
  • 13 to 6 Days: While we cannot offer a monetary refund due to the perishable nature of our class ingredients, we are pleased to provide a 80% credit coupon, applicable toward any future class of your choosing.
  • 24 hours – 5 days: We empathize that unforeseen events happen. Although we’ve already allocated resources for your session, we will accommodate by offering a 50% credit coupon toward a future class.
  • Same-Day Cancellation We prepare for our classes in advance, with ingredients purchased according to the number of expected attendees. If you cancel on the same day as the class, we are unable to provide a refund or credit coupon due to the expenses already incurred for your booking. We encourage you to pass your booking onto someone else who can attend in your place. Please inform us of any such changes at the earliest opportunity, so we can provide them with the best possible experience.

Cancellation Policy for Private and Corporate Events For events canceled at least 30 days in advance, we issue a credit valid for one year. Events canceled with less than 30 days’ notice are not eligible for a refund or credit.

Unforeseen Circumstances

Kitchen Social reserves the right to cancel classes due to inclement weather, insufficient enrollment, or other unforeseeable circumstances. If we cancel a class, participants will be offered a full refund or store credit.

Menu Changes

Menus may be altered based on ingredient availability or the chef’s discretion.
